Garmin Vector 2 Power Meter
The Garmin Vector power meter measures the power delivery directly where man and machine meet: the pedals. Garmin Vector is the first well-engineered pedal-based power meter. It is able to keep up with the accuracy of established crank-based power meters like SRM or Quarq.
This power meter portable, easy to install, and may be easily swapped between bicycles. In short, the Garmin Vector is a bonâ fide plug-and-play unit, like the PowerTap.
Most importantly, the Garmin Vector consists of two independent meters, measuring the left and right pedals independently. It is one of the few power meters able to provide true differentiated analytics for left and right leg performance.
The Garmin Vector S is the simple version of the Garmin Vector power meter. This device measures only the performance of the left pedal. The one-sided power measurement, which is used on the Stages power meters as well, was proved to be successful in the field. No detrimental effect to a training regime based on this one-sided measurement device has been demonstrated, so long as athletes do not exhibit significant muscular imbalances between the left and right legs.
The Garmin Vector S may be complemented with the Garmin Vector S Upgrade Pedal when required, to comprise the complete Garmin Vector power meter.
The Garmin Vector pedals are only compatible with Look Keo cleats, which are included in the delivery contents.
